Terms of Use

The agreement between you and — what you can do here, what we are responsible for, what we are not, and how either side ends it.

The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name], [Registered address] (“”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you use the website, web application, or mobile apps. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines form part of this agreement.

Who can use

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You must be able to enter a binding contract where you live.
  • You must not be barred from using the service under applicable law, and must not have been removed from previously.
  • One account per person. Accounts are not transferable.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly at support@trupath.me if you think someone else has access to it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish about yourself, including any credential or experience claimed on a mentor profile.

Acceptable use

Do not use to:

  • Harass, threaten, bully, or impersonate anyone.
  • Post content that is unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers a minor.
  • Republish another member's goals, check-ins, or journal content outside without their permission.
  • Present yourself as a licensed professional you are not, or offer medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice through the platform.
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the service, or attempt to access data you were not granted access to.
  • Interfere with the operation of the service, probe it for vulnerabilities outside our responsible disclosure process, or circumvent any limit or access control.
  • Use the service to send unsolicited marketing, or to advertise unrelated products to other members.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you what happened and why.

Your content

Your goals, milestones, check-ins, voice notes, and journal entries remain yours. We claim no ownership of them.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transcribe, back up, and display your content strictly to operate the service for you and to show it to the people you shared it with. The licence exists so we can run the product, and it ends when your content is deleted, apart from copies retained in backups until they clear.

If you publish content publicly, you understand it can be seen, quoted, and screenshotted by anyone. Making a goal private again removes it from , but cannot undo what has already been seen.

Mentors and members

A mentor relationship on is between the mentor and the member. provides the tools; it is not a party to that relationship.

  • Mentors set their own rates and arrange payment directly with members. does not process those payments and takes no commission.
  • does not certify, license, employ, or supervise mentors, and does not verify credentials beyond a basic review of profile accuracy.
  • Mentors are not therapists, doctors, or licensed financial advisers when acting on , and must not present themselves as such.
  • Either side may end the relationship at any time. Access to shared goals ends with it.

AI features

The AI coach generates suggestions from the goal context you give it. Its output can be incorrect, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. It is not professional advice, and decisions you take on the back of it are yours. Generated content is labelled in the product so it stays distinguishable from what you wrote.

is not a professional service

supports personal goal setting and peer accountability. It is not a medical, psychological, financial, or legal service, and nothing in the product — from the coach, from a mentor, or from another member — is professional advice. If you are in crisis, contact a local emergency service or a crisis line in your country.

Subscriptions and billing

  • The free plan is free indefinitely and does not require a payment method. It limits how many goals you can have active at once; the limit and the current price of paid plans are stated on the pricing page.
  • Premium subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Enterprise agreements are invoiced under separately agreed terms.
  • If a paid plan ends, content you created on it is not deleted. Goals over the free plan's active limit become read-only until you complete or archive enough of them, and you can export everything at any time.
  • Cancel at any time from settings. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not pro-rate part periods.
  • Prices exclude taxes unless stated. We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects a renewal.

Availability

is in early access. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change or be withdrawn. We will give reasonable notice before removing something you depend on, and you can export your content at any time.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using and delete your account at any time from settings.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that creates a risk to other members, or where we are required to by law. Except where an immediate suspension is necessary, we will give notice and, where appropriate, an opportunity to put it right.

The sections on your content, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive the end of this agreement.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, is provided “as is”, and we exclude all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, or opportunity. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with this agreement is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights your local law gives you that these terms cannot override.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law jurisdiction], and the courts of [Governing law jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the product. Continuing to use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, you can delete your account.
